The International Lymphoma Radiation Oncology Group (ILROG) was established in 2010 by leading radiation oncology experts from across the globe, recognized as academic authorities in the treatment of lymphoma. The initiative was met with strong support from more than 750 radiation oncologists in over 40 countries, leading to the formation of a Steering Committee of 24 specialists representing 14 nations, spanning from Asia to North America. The Steering Committee prioritized the development, harmonization, and dissemination of updated guidelines to reflect rapid advances in principles, dose concepts, and technology in lymphoma radiotherapy. Today, ILROG continues to expand its membership and welcomes radiation oncologists with an interest in lymphoma to participate actively in committees, research collaborations, and special mission teams dedicated to advancing the field.
